Sponsorship Terms & Disclosure

1. Purpose

These Sponsorship Terms outline the relationship between Hoopotia Institute Inc. (“the Institute”) and any business, organization, or individual (“Sponsor”) providing financial or in-kind support for the Basketball Cash Flow initiative. The goal of this partnership is to sustain free access to Basketball Cash Flow for youth basketball programs, leagues, and community organizations.

2. Nature of Sponsorship

Sponsorships are classified as marketing partnerships, not charitable donations. Sponsors receive public acknowledgment, branding, and promotional visibility in return for their support, which may include logo placement, recognition on reports, or program listings.

Because a marketing benefit is provided, sponsorship payments are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions but may be deductible as business marketing expenses under IRS Section 162.

3. Sponsorship Benefits

Logo placement within the Basketball Cash Flow app or website
Recognition in reports, summaries, or event materials
Public acknowledgment on Hoopotia Institute Inc. platforms
Optional sponsor features on the sponsors directory page

The Institute reserves the right to approve all sponsor messaging and placements to ensure alignment with its mission and community standards.

4. Sponsorship Payments

All sponsorship payments are processed through Hoopotia Institute Inc., a 508(c) nonprofit organization. Funds are used to:

Maintain and improve the Basketball Cash Flow platform
Support free access for youth programs
Advance Hoopotia Institute’s broader mission in basketball education and community development

Hooporia Institute Inc.C provides technology and operational support under service agreements with the Institute. Payment may be made via check, electronic transfer, or online processing as designated by Hoopotia Institute Inc.

5. Acknowledgment and Term

Sponsors will receive written acknowledgment of their partnership and the corresponding benefits. Sponsorship terms typically run for 12 months from the effective date unless otherwise stated.

6. Rights and Limitations

Hoopotia Institute Inc. retains full discretion over program participation and sponsor recognition. Sponsorships do not grant control, ownership, or decision-making authority over any program or platform. Both parties agree to act in good faith to uphold the spirit and purpose of the partnership.
